International Projects and Environment

Kevin has a background in software engineering and business administration. Back in April 2003, when he came to CDRator, he was already a familiar face in the telecom industry and accepted the job because he felt it had future perspective. According to Kevin “Meeting new people and having lots of different tasks is what is great about CDRator and gives me energy!”.

Kevin also enjoys being challenged in another way, namely his collaboration skills, serving customers of different nationalities and mind-sets all over the world! “The customer interaction in this job suits me perfectly – I don’t like sitting in a corner keeping quiet!” he explains.

He also stresses that he is happy to be able to work with a wide palette of systems – from state-of-the-art-technologies, to older legacy systems. “In CDRator you must keep your professional tool-box diversified and top-tuned to keep up.” he continues.

 Freedom and Responsibility

Flex-time and the many opportunities to travel offered by CDRator, are also favorites of Kevin’s. Likewise, the many good and helpful CDRator colleagues are very important parts of Kevin’s social network, along with the many interesting customer contacts he has made over the years - many on management level, offering him good educational insight into management affairs.

Kevin is satisfied with the different aspects of his job, “There are NOT many jobs where it is possible to be both technical project manager and, at the same time, work hands-on designing projects!!...”.

One final thing Kevin likes is the visibility that many of our projects enjoy. “It is great when an operator goes live with a new brand using the Rator platform. Then you see billboards, newspaper ads and stuff like that for “our” brand – that’s cool and makes it very real!”.
